Congregation B’nai Jacob is a contemporary synagogue in Jersey City serving Hudson County. Our members come from Jersey City, Hoboken, Bayonne and beyond.

We’re families and singles, young and old, gay and straight, white and black, working and retired, very knowledgeable or just a little.  But we all share a sense of Jewish being and becoming.

Non-members and visitors are always welcome at services, classes and other synagogue events.  However, we encourage you to “jump in the water” and become a member of Congregation B’nai Jacob.  As a member, you can count on this community for support in times of joy and sorrow; and before you know it, you will find yourself welcoming newcomers into the fold.  Members who wish to take the initiative are invited to join synagogue committees and help shape our programs, and our community.

For more information, you may contact the membership committee through the form.
